Modern Line Furniture Recognized at New Jersey’s Largest Manufacturing Celebration
Proud Nominee at NJMEP’s “Made in New Jersey” Manufacturing Day 2025
On October 3, 2025, Modern Line Furniture joined hundreds of industry leaders, educators, and public officials at the 13th Annual “Made in New Jersey” Manufacturing Day, hosted by the New Jersey Manufacturing Extension Program (NJMEP) at iPlay America in Freehold, NJ. The event—recognized as the state’s largest celebration of manufacturing—brought together innovators, policymakers, and manufacturers from across the Garden State to highlight the strength and future of New Jersey’s manufacturing sector.
Modern Line Furniture was honored to be nominated in two categories this year:
Manufacturer of the Year – Small Business
Rising Star Award – Yana Katliarova, CFO of Modern Line Furniture
These nominations reflect the company’s ongoing dedication to U.S. manufacturing excellence, continuous innovation, and its contributions to New Jersey’s growing industrial community.
Celebrating New Jersey’s Manufacturing Strength
Each year, Made in New Jersey Manufacturing Day celebrates the companies, teams, and individuals that keep New Jersey’s manufacturing industry thriving. Hosted by NJMEP, the event aims to inspire the next generation of makers while recognizing established leaders who continue to invest in workforce development, advanced production methods, and local economic growth.
Modern Line Furniture’s team, led by CEO Vlad Spivak and CFO Yana Katliarova, was proud to participate, showcasing the company’s story of U.S.-based production and its commitment to creating sustainable, high-quality commercial furniture right here in New Jersey.
Conversations That Shape the Future
The event provided a rare opportunity for direct dialogue between business owners and policymakers.
Both gubernatorial candidates shared their visions for manufacturing in the state, emphasizing the need for greater investment in vocational education, workforce training, and local production initiatives.
Representing Modern Line Furniture, Yana Katliarova engaged in meaningful discussions with both candidates about the real-world challenges and opportunities faced by manufacturers today—from workforce development to supply chain stability and the importance of keeping production in the United States.
“Even though we did not win in either category, we had a great experience showcasing our display and meeting both Mikie Sherrill and Jack Ciattarelli. We had the opportunity to discuss the future of manufacturing in New Jersey and the importance of supporting local producers,” said Yana Katliarova, CFO of Modern Line Furniture.

From its fully equipped facility in Hamilton, New Jersey, the company designs, engineers, and fabricates every piece—from woodwork and metal fabrication to upholstery—under one roof.
This integrated approach gives Modern Line the unique ability to deliver custom furniture with faster lead times, typically within 2–4 weeks, while maintaining the highest standards of quality and durability.
As one of the few fully in-house manufacturers in the commercial furniture industry, Modern Line continues to set benchmarks for innovation, craftsmanship, and reliability. The company’s leadership team, including CEO Vlad Spivak and CFO Yana Katliarova, has built a brand recognized not only for its product excellence but also for its transparency, customer service, and strong relationships with designers, architects, and business owners nationwide.
At the Manufacturing Day celebration, attendees had the opportunity to explore product displays from leading New Jersey manufacturers, learn about new technologies, and discuss the shared goal of strengthening the state’s industrial foundation.
Modern Line Furniture’s booth featured a selection of its signature seating designs, highlighting the company’s ability to blend modern aesthetics with heavy-duty, commercial-grade performance. Visitors—including students, entrepreneurs, and government representatives—had the chance to meet the team, experience the quality firsthand, and learn about the company’s long-standing commitment to American manufacturing.
The event also served as a networking hub where Modern Line reconnected with fellow manufacturers, vendors, and policymakers. These conversations helped reinforce the importance of collaboration across industries to promote local production, create jobs, and ensure long-term growth for New Jersey’s manufacturing economy.
Although Modern Line Furniture did not take home an award this year, the company left the event inspired and energized by the shared vision of New Jersey’s manufacturing community.
“Events like NJMEP’s Manufacturing Day are reminders that we’re all part of something bigger,” said Vlad Spivak, CEO of Modern Line Furniture. “We’re proud to represent New Jersey manufacturing and will continue to push the boundaries of what’s possible with American-made commercial furniture.”
