Prepping for BDNY: Our Factory Comes to Life
In anticipation of this year’s show, our production floor has been transformed into a full-scale mockup of the Modern Line Furniture exhibit. This detailed pre-expo setup allows our team to see the layout, spacing, and color coordination of each display before arriving at the venue — a practice that ensures consistency, quality, and the “wow” factor our brand is known for.
“We treat every trade show like it’s our biggest one yet,” says Vlad Spivak, CEO of Modern Line Furniture. “The BDNY show attracts designers, architects, and hospitality leaders from around the world, so it’s our chance to demonstrate the precision, flexibility, and creativity that define American-made furniture.”
From restaurant booths (see collection) and restaurant chairs (view chairs) to table tops (browse finishes), the BDNY booth setup showcases Modern Line’s ability to blend aesthetic beauty with practical design. Every piece on display was manufactured and assembled in our New Jersey facility (visit our factory) — a testament to the craftsmanship and control that come with producing furniture in-house.

This year’s booth will introduce several new models and finishes created exclusively for BDNY. The team has focused on designs that merge bold visual identity with modular functionality, allowing designers and venue owners to reconfigure seating layouts easily while maintaining a cohesive look.
“Our design philosophy has always been about more than comfort,” adds Spivak. “It’s about how a piece contributes to the overall atmosphere and flow of a space. Every restaurant booth, communal table, and lounge chair we produce serves a specific purpose in elevating the client’s brand.”

“The effort behind the scenes is enormous,” says Spivak. “We run production mockups, test assembly, and coordinate every piece down to the last stitch to make sure it arrives flawless and ready to impress.”
