receiving a rejection with an error code: Your
credit card has been declined
- Please
do not
panic. This is most likely a security precaution governed by your
issuing bank. Debit cards and some credit card establish an everyday
spending limit, when you attempt to go over that limit the declined
warning appears.
- Please
call you
credit/debit card issuing bank, and simply ask them to increase your
spending daily limit to cover the purchasing amount required. This task takes less than 5
minutes, after
which, you may continue placing your order on our website.
Fraud
Prevention and Personal Security:
- If
your billing
address is different
from your shipping address, we require for all purchases made with a
credit/debit card to have their billing and shipping address on file
with the issuing bank to prevent identity theft and
fraud.
- We verify every purchase

the debit/credit card.

and

Our
Shipping Rates:
- At
Modern Line
Furniture we
introduced special
flat
rates for shipping within the contiguous 48 states.
- For
your convenience
we have placed the shipping rate on every item's page, on the bottom.
- Our
flat shipping
fee of $300 reflects our goal to provide the lowest price possible for
the most amount of service. This
rate does not have a quantity limit. You may purchase as many items as
you like all for one flat low fee!
Shipping
Restrictions:
- We
only ship to 48
contiguous states, which excludes Hawaii and Alaska.
- We
do offer shipping
to Canada, please fill out a special
form to request an appropriate rate quote. Shipping rate to
Canada
is determined based on mileage, local tariffs and freight charges.
Delivery
Options:
- Local
Delivery -
applies to shipping address that is under 100 miles from our warehouse
location in Rahway, NJ 07065. All local deliveries provide white glove
service, which includes set-up and litter removal. Local delivery is
done by local third-party shipping company.
- Curbside
Delivery -
applies to all other deliveries out of the local 100 mile range. These
deliveries involve major freight company transportation, which allows
for a very quick shipping! Curbside delivery is when a freight
company truck carefully unloads the packaged goods as close to as
physically
possible to the curb of your home or loading dock. Please note, the
freight company dispatcher will always call you to schedule the
delivery in advance to establish the time and date best suited for you.
- Why
Curbside? the
commercial freight company personnel is not equipped nor trained to
accomplish the task of a white glove delivery. The freight delivery
personnel is also not allowed to handle any packages outside the truck
unloading area as this is limited by their insurance liability. Curb-side delivery is performed
to avoid any
possible damage that may occur while unloading and moving the furniture
from the delivery truck to your home. All of our furniture pieces are
securely packed using foam, cardboard and shrink wrap as they travel
directly from the factory. It would be very unfortunate, if the small
trip between the delivery truck and your home, the furniture pieces are
subjected to unnecessary damage. Curb-side delivery is highly
beneficial for the consumer, as the consumer himself can take the
effort and time to appropriately maneuver the furniture inside the home
without any risk of a rushed delivery being performed by the
freight company.
- Please
note, even if you are
outside of our immediate area, and you do not qualify for the inside
placement delivery, please call us. We'll try our best to accommodate
your request.
Tracking
Information:
- The
tracking information
is automatically emailed to you
once your order has been picked up by the commercial freight company.
The detailed email will provide all the necessary information in order
for you to prepare and accept the delivery of your gorgeous furniture
order.(note: local deliveries do not receive tracking information via
email, but via phone call)

What
if I received
furniture and I don't like it ?
We are so sure
that you will love our
quality products that we offer you this iron clad guarantee.
If
you are not 100% satisfied with any single item purchased, you
may return the
item for a full refund within 14 days from the day you receive the item.
The refund amount will be the full purchase price of the
FURNITURE item
without any re-stocking charge (shipping cost is not
refundable). The item must be in its original (new) condition
and
packaging. Prior authorization must be arranged by phone or
emailing. Customer
is
responsible for return shipping cost.
What
if my furniture arrives damaged ?
This is
highly unlikely. We take a very good care of packing and less then 2%
of shipments receive any damages. However, in case of damage here is
what you
will need to do. When the freight company delivers your freight, you
will need to inspect the outside packaging. If the outside packaging is
intact the delivery truck will leave. If you notice any damages you
will need to indicate that on a bill of lading. When you open the
packaging, should you notice any damages or defects, please call our
customer service at 800-637-5596. We will ask you to email us a couple
of digital pictures showing the damage, and we will work with you to
resolve all issues until you are completely satisfied. We will either
replace the damaged item at our expense, or send you a replacement part
or the whole item. Rest assured your 100% satisfaction is our main
concern.
